Speaking To The Dead

Mention Crystal Healing to most people and you are likely to see them roll their eyes, laugh and make some derisive comment about 'New Age mumbo jumbo', yet the practical use of Crystals in Complementary and Holistic Healing Therapies seems to be gaining in popularity with many 'Muggles' (forgive me) now seeking their positive benefits.  

So, Why The Hype?

To simply overlook Crystals as 'pretty stones' or colourful semi-precious rocks is to do them and the Creative Universal Source, a great disservice. 

Lapidary has been practiced since time immemorial and is ancient wisdom and not new age hoo-doo.

As far back as the Sumerian civilisation of Ancient Mesopotamia (4th Century BCE) people have been utilising the energy and information inherent within crystals for healing, ceremonies and rituals and protection. Crystals were (and still are) used in Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Ancient Egyptians were renowned for their use of semi-precious and precious stones in their ceremonial jewellery and personal decoration, not only as status symbols, but for their healing and protective powers.  Egyptians also used crushed stones such as Malachite, as powder eye shadows.

The Ancient Greek writer Theophrastus (c371-c289BCE) wrote a thesis 'On Stones' which was used as a source for Lapidaries up until the Renaissance Period. Even Pliny The Elder in the First Century AD talked of the use of crystals in the homes of the Noble Men and Women of Ancient Rome; recording that their windows and glasshouses were decorated with 'Lapis Specularis', the Latin term for a large, transparent gypsum crystal from Spain.

We can see from these examples that Humans have been drawn to crystals throughout the ages and this fascination certainly appears to show no sign of slowing down.

I have personally had some wonderful experiences with crystals and I find myself increasingly drawn to them by a kind of invisible magnetic pull. I have very clear recollections of my night time sojourns into the Spirit Realm where I have, on several occasions, received lessons about crystals; their individual frequency of vibration, how vibrational frequencies effect different crystals and how vibrational frequency and resonance may even be used to de-materialise and re-materialise some crystals. 

I have often found crystals in unlikely places, such as the time I found a table in an empty coffee shop garden, sat down and realised that there was a large lump of raw citrine on the table I picked, staring back at me!

I recently awoke with the knowledge that I needed to find and purchase a Larimar stone and Moonstone. I have held and caressed these stones and carried them everywhere with me since their arrival. The Moonstone has such a gentle and nurturing energy, as soft as moonlight, whereas the Larimar is a little powerhouse of energy, fiery and free, a full and wild, natural wave like frequency.  

With the ongoing development of my Mediumistic and Psychic abilities, I have a greater understanding of all things crystal; If I hold any specimen and sit quietly, the crystal will 'speak' to me.  Recently my collection of stones have begun emitting 'notes' or 'keys', each unique to the stone.

Taking Quartz crystal as an example, it's Silicon Oxide structure has been scientifically proven to conduct electromagnetic energy.  Electromagnetic Energy is constantly vibrating and every thing in this Universe (including ourselves and the Earth) emits an EM Frequency individual to it. 

Thus, it is a simple and practical conclusion that the interaction of frequencies between objects, people, nature, animals and also crystals too, will have a marked effect on the opposing Energy Field.

Piezoelectricity is the measurement through which Quartz Crystal energy expresses itself. As Quartz lies in seams under the Earth for Millenia, it becomes a storehouse of information in the form of EM Energy.

Many Crystal Healers believe that the mission and purpose of all crystals is to help to transform physical humans from being carbon based 3-Dimensional entities to becoming enlightened, 5th-Dimensional Silica based ones. This is an element in the idea of a collective Ascension.

The programming held within Quartz especially, is multidimensional- meaning that it's origins may well lie much further from Earth. Aeons of time, information, vibrational energy all channelled into atoms of the Five Platonic Solids that go to make up this crystal, means that each single sample holds within it great potential, energy and information.

If we take a broader perspective on the subject of Crystal Healing and place it into the context of our purpose as Spirit Beings inhabiting Physical bodies at this moment, it is only a short leap of faith to begin to understand that these beautiful pieces of mineral and ore might just have something very important to teach us, not only about ourselves as individuals, but as an interconnected Spiritual Race.

I am absolutely certain that as we progress as a species we will re-discover more and more about the efficacy of crystals, which will be able to be Scientifically proven. It is the curse of the modern era that 'Proof' is deemed a necessary pathway to finding Truth.

I am positive of the benefits of Crystals and personally, need no scientist to convince me.
